The main floor of the existing clubhouse is one large rectangular room. On one end is a small office and long countertop with cabinets.

Office
The other end has both men's and women's restrooms.
We could have our own his and hers bathrooms.
We decided where the current office is will become the livingroom and dining room. A master bedroom suite will go in where the restrooms are.
It's pretty hard for me to imagine this space as my future bedroom, especially with the urinals and stalls.
The boys voted to keep this but I said no.
The men's bathroom will become a walk in closet:
The women's bathroom will become the master bath:
Think we should keep both?
This whole wall will come off and is where the new addition will extend out into the kitchen.
I've walked through enough of my husband's flip houses to know firsthand how a space can be transformed, so for right now I'm trusting him when he assures me this project will come together.
About 9 months ago my husband pitched to me a wild, crazy idea. It was a Sunday night and I had just gotten home from dropping off our son at church. The conversation went something like this: ...I think we should buy a golf course. ...Are you kidding? ...Think about it. It's perfect. There's lots of land. Plenty of space for our animals. ...Um, it's a golf course. ...Just think of it as land. It comes with 2 outbuildings. ...It's land with sand traps and putting greens. It has a parking lot! ...We never have enough space for family to park. Now we will. And so we continued. He had a big plan to renovate the clubhouse into a 4 bedroom home and showed me his initial drawings. I don't know if I was hypnotized by his enthusiatic vision or influenced by my own midlife crisis and yearning for more, but somehow he brought me on board. So here we are. We bought a 73 acre golf course and we're moving in. This is our story.
