Time for a Little Fun
As part of our purchase we agreed to keep the course running through November to honor the course memberships, so construction won't start until spring. That's good because we haven't figured that out yet.

In the meantime we've been popping over to the course for walks and some family fun. Everytime I come here I am struck by the immense beauty of nature and feel alive and free. But I don't think I come close to enjoying it as much as this girl.

Zoey has relished the freedom of walking with me off leash, and has taken up a new hobby- squirrel chasing.
She looks innocent enough but she's actually public enemy number one when it comes to why we're moving.
About a year and a half ago she crashed into me running full speed wreaking havoc on my knee. Me and stairs are still incommunicado and after much deliberation we have come to the conclusion that I need a home with a main floor bedroom.

This is one of our favorite spots on the back corner of the property where there's a large 7 acre pond.
Walking here hasn't just been great exercise for my knee, it truly brightens my soul and reminds me of God's promise to always be with us and never forsake us. Beauty is all around us, everywhere. So here's to new beginnings and fresh starts.
